ACMS GROUPS BEING FORMED

The 2010-2011 ACMS roster is developing into the largest number of quartets to date. The ninth season will comprise thirteen young and talented string quartets who will be under the weekly guidance of the four members of the Artaria String Quartet. Coachings and concerts take place at the historical Episcopal Church of St John on Summit Hill in St Paul. This year, the Jupiter Quartet, cellist Peter Howard, and Artaria will present a series of public masterclasses at St John’s, and a new MNSOTA sponsored statewide competition will be offered in addition to the already well established Saint Paul String Quartet Competition. ACMS young artists will continue to extend themselves into the St Paul community at their free Coventry Chapel concert series at Episcopal Homes Long Term Care.
